Originally from Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Jamie Johnson is now in her third season as the certified Athletic Therapist at Capilano University. After finishing her University degree, she has landed numerous roles in high-performance athletics. Specializing in soccer, she worked primarily with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC and Canada Soccer.
Lately, she has turned her focus to higher-contact sports such as WLA Sr. A Mens Lacrosse with the Langley Thunder, and Jr. B Hockey with the Port Moody Panthers. As well, she specializes in concussion rehabilitation in athletes and motor vehicle accidents at Advance Concussion Clinic in downtown Vancouver. Johnson was also part of the therapy staff for the 2019 World Junior Hockey Championships held in Vancouver.
Johnson’s passion is in outdoor adventures such as hiking and camping, and whenever she’s not working you will find her at sporting events cheering on local teams. She is also in the process of completing her Masters in Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University.
