After serving two seasons as head coach, Adam Day moved to an associate head coach role alongside David Andreychuk in June 2022.
During his time with the Blues, Day has also been the technical assistant coach with Canada's women's team and helped lead the team to an historic gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
A native of London, U.K., Day also coaches with Surrey United's BC Soccer Premier League team and is technical director with Guildford Athletic Club. Day has also served as an academy coach and director for English Premier League power Arsenal FC and he maintains a role as technical consultant to the Bangladesh men's national team.
Day's coaching career began with English club Charlton FC in 2003. He has also been a residency and academy coach with Whitecaps FC in Vancouver and was a head coach in the PACWEST with Quest University from 2008 to 2010.
Day holds a UEFA A coaching licence as well as the elite formation coaching licence (EFCL) from the French Football Federation.
As a player, Day came to North America to compete in National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) soccer at the University of Science & Arts in Oklahoma (USAO). He remains the school's record holder for career assists and is among the team's all-time leaders in several offensive categories. Day was twice named an NAIA All-American at USAO.
