Title: Head Coach

Rob Gowe enters his fourth season with Blues women's volleyball in 2022-23 anticipating his third season of PACWEST action after the pandemic erased the 2020-21 campaign.

In 2021-22, Gowe guided the Blues back to the PACWEST postseason where they upended College of the Rockies in the quarter-finals before running into eventual national champions Vancouver Island University in the semis. Blues libero Vanesa Gatto was named to the tournament All-Star team after earning the conference's Top Libero honours for the regular season.

Gowe boasts a strong recruiting class in 2022 including NCAA transfer Jayden Easingwood and BC Selects team member Kristen Young. He will count on veterans Gatto and Courtney Muller to lead along with young returners Sibby Bos, a 2021-22 PACWEST All-Rookie team member and lefty Grace Brisebois who showed last seasib she can do a bit of everything on the Blues side of the net.

Gowe has exceptionally strong roots within the North Shore volleyball community. He is currently the Head Coach and Program Lead for the Volleyball Regional Excellence program in North Vancouver, is the head coach for Team BC selects, and head coach for Sea Side Volleyball club. Rob was also a past assistant coach for the CapU men's volleyball program in 2013. He has an impressive and successful coaching resume at various levels of community and intercollegiate competition.
