This past Wednesday, the Capilano University Blues men’s soccer team played their final exhibition game before kicking off their PACWEST at home on Saturday, September 8. A great crowd of fellow students came out to support the Blues student-athletes, who defeated Mountain United FC 6-1 to enter the regular season on a winning note.

Many of the fans also took part in a pre-game pump-up, which featured free food, a dunk tank, and DJ Ketafere – along with a Spikeball tournament and several prize giveaways. The event was a part of Capilano University’s 2018 Orientation, and helped set the stage for the upcoming school year and Blues season.

Photos from the event can be seen on the CapU Flickr page.

The CapU men’s and women’s soccer teams play at home on both Saturday and Sunday. The Blues face Vancouver Island University on Saturday the 8th with the women playing at 1:00pm and the men at 3:30pm, and on Sunday the Blues take on Douglas College; kick-off is at 12:00pm and 2:30pm for the women and men, respectively.
