On Saturday night, the Blues were able to overcome a rough start to win 64-51 against the visiting Falcons. Again, the Blues were led by the Errico sisters who combined for 31 points on the night. Head coach Ramin Sadaghiani thought both games were strong team performances against two playoff-bound teams. "I thought we had a balanced attack with numerous players contributing statistically as well as we put together great defensive performances."
On the men's side, the Blues (10-10) faced back-to-back opponents who are ranked ahead of them in the PACWEST standings. The Kermodes (17-3), who currently sit in second place, proved to be too tough of a test for the Blues on Thursday night as they fell 76-73. Four Blues finished in double-digits; Martin Bogajev (18 points), Graddy Zubaidi (18 points), Brendan Bailey (16 points) and Chris Loreth (13 points).
The Blues will be at home this Friday night (Feb. 26th) as they host the Douglas College Royals in the last game of the PACWEST regular season. The women play at 6:00 p.m. and the men at 8:00 p.m.
