In recognition of their outstanding play this season, Blues women's soccer players Adrianna Babinski, Alanah Dulong and Natalie LeClerc have been named to the 2019 PACWEST All-Star team.

Babinski, a third-year midfielder from Coquitlam, was again a leader for the Blues this season with her coverage of the park and also takes the majority of corners and free kicks. Babinski played in 11 of the Blues' 12 games this season and finished second on the team with three goals.

LeClerc, a fifth-year graduating senior from Port Coquitlam, played in 11 of the Blues' 12 games this season and displayed impressive versatility in playing all over the pitch as needed. Her deft touch on the ball and ability to distribute were major assets again this season.

Dulong, a native of North Vancouver and second-year player for the Blues, also suited up in 11 games this season and provided a calming presence on the back end. Her lone goal of the season was a game-winning tally on Sept. 29 in a 5-0 victory over Langara.

The Blues are next in action on Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Burnaby Lake Sports Complex in the PACWEST semifinal against Douglas College. The winner of that game will advance to meet Vancouver Island University in Saturday's final, also slated for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff.

The winner of the PACWEST playoffs will qualify for the national championship tournament happening Nov. 6 to 9 at Concordia University of Edmonton.
