Jaylene Lucas has been named the PACWEST Athlete of the Week in the final week of regular season play.
She recorded 23.5 points of total offence in a weekend split against the Douglas Royals.
The 5’11 middle blocker from Surrey had a season-high 13 points on nine kills, three solo blocks and an ace in a road loss Friday. She then followed up with nine more kills and a block in a home win the next night. She hit .389 in Saturday’s win and also added a block assist.
