The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) - the national governing body of Capilano University sports - has announced a new competitive challenge open to all CapU students.
In partnership with Uniting Gamers, the CCAA is staging Gaming Challenge - NBA 2K21 on PlayStation. Any student enrolled at a CCAA Member Institution is eligible to register for this national contest.
The event will field 64 competitors with Week One of competition starting Feb. 22.
Jostens Canada will be creating a championship ring for the winner of this Gaming Challenge.

PLAYER REQUIREMENTS
· Game: NBA 2K21
· Platforms: PS4 (or PS5 with backward capability)
· Cost: FREE
· Registration: Closes Friday, February 19, 2021 at 11:59 pm ET.
· Number of Players: 64 (a wait list will be compiled if registrations surpass 64 players)
· Location: Must currently reside in Canada
· Player Eligibility: Any student currently enrolled at a CCAA Member Institution must register via the online portal by 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, February 19, 2021. Players must sign-up using an Institution administered email and provide proof of enrollment via a student number. Enrollment will be confirmed with each institution.
SCHEDULE
· Registration opens Monday, February 8 and closes Friday, February 19, 2021.
· Week One: February 22-26 - Round of 64
· Week Two: March 1-5 - Round of 32
· Week Three: March 8-12 - Round of 16
· Week Four: March 16 - Quarterfinals / March 18 - Semis & Final
