Tanis Metcalfe

Previous Schools: UBC, Carson Graham
Height: 6'1"
Position: Forward
Coach Weimer, "Tanis brings size, athleticism and experience to our roster. After spending the past 2 seasons playing for the UBC Thunderbirds, she decided it was time for a change and a new start. I’m extremely excited to welcome her home to North Vancouver where she spent her high school career playing for the Carson Graham Eagles. A very versatile player with length and quickness, Tanis will be a force at both ends of the court immediately. She’s a strong rebounder and at 6’1 can handle playing inside or outside, and is one of the best bigs I’ve ever seen run the floor. We're thrilled Tanis decided to join our Blues family and we can’t wait to work with her, and watch her grow."
Men's Soccer
Ethan Smith
Hometown: Surrey, BC
Previous Schools: Pacific Academy High School
Height: 5'11"
Position: Fullback
Coach Day, "Ethan is a very promising player that we believe can also make an impact now. He is an agile fullback who has gained valuable experience playing in the men's amateur divisions this season. He is very intelligent, a true academic, and just as astute on the field. I think he comes into this season under no pressure but he has the capabilities to do very well."
Women's Soccer
Alexa Gazzola
Hometown: Vancouver, BC
Previous Schools: Douglas College
Height: 5'7"
Position: Goalkeeper
Coach Kindel, "Alexa offers much upside coming into her 4th season. Both in 2016 and 2018, Alexa recorded four shutouts in eight matches. Her ability to command the box has already brought her a provincial gold medal and her experience will be a key factor for the Blues."
Andrea Perrotta
Hometown: Coquitlam, BC
Previous Schools: Douglas College
Height: 5'2"
Position: Midfielder
Coach Kindel, "Andrea has been one of the PACWEST's top players for years. She won the golden boot in 2016 with eight goals and a total of 16 points in 11 matches. Her ability to hit the goal from any part of the pitch makes her one of the most dangerous shooters in the league."
