After three seasons with Blues men's soccer, two as an assistant coach and one in the head coach role, David Andreychuk is moving on and CapU's Department of Athletics and Recreation has begun a hiring process to find his successor.

Andreychuk worked alongside Adam Day in 2020 and 2021 before taking the top job in 2022 when Day moved to an associate and general manager role. The Blues experienced a difficult campaign in the most recent season, posting two draws to go along with 10 losses.
Positives for the Blues in 2022 included a PACWEST All-Star nod for second-year midfielder Luca Martinelli and a career high in goals for graduating captain Merlin Fisk who notched four. First-year centre back and U.K. import Luke Harrop showed well in his first look at the PACWEST and Adam Majuerae was a revelation in his rookie season with three tallies.
Goalkeeper Kia Ahmadpour, also new to the team in 2022, played every minute of the season came up with several highlight-reel saves despite facing 86 shots over 12 games.
Blues men's soccer boasts a rich history going back to 1974. The team has reached the CCAA podium 12 times, including six national championship gold medals. In addition, the Blues have won 16 PACWEST provincial titles, most recently in 2018.
