Sibby Bos is the Indigo Park Canada Capilano University Blues women's Athlete of the Week.
The 6-foot middle blocker racked up 17 kills for the weekend as the Blues took a road split at VIU.
Bos had eight kills and two aces in Friday’s straight-sets win and followed that with nine kills and three more aces in a match that went the full five sets.
For the weekend, the Kelowna product hit a healthy .583 on 24 attempts, got in on two blocks and contributed seven digs. She was tough to handle from the service line as well and went on multiple lengthy serving streaks.
Zach Klim is the Indigo Park Canada Capilano University Blues men’s Athlete of the Week.
The 6-foot-11 centre became the Blues all-time leading rebounder, pulling down 24 boards as part of a weekend sweep of visiting Okanagan College.
Limited by foul trouble Friday night, Klim still managed 12 points and seven rebounds in 16 minutes of work.
On Saturday afternoon, Klim needed 13 more rebounds to pass Luke Wera for tops all-time in Blues history and did better than that, grabbing 17 while also scoring 21 points, including a couple of threes. Klim had 33 points, 24 rebounds and seven steals for the weekend.
