Finishing her career in style, Capilano Blues graduating defender Lauren Grey has been named a CCAA All-Canadian for the 2025 season.
The Blues captain anchored Capilano's back line again this season after missing 2024 due to injury. Her presence was undeniable for the Blues as she played heavy minutes and frequently marked the opposition's top attackers. Her leadership and ability to keep the Blues area clear of danger will be hard to replace next season.
The 2025 CCAA All-Canadians were announced at the National Championship award banquet held Nov. 4 at Red Deer Polytechnic, host of this year's championship tournament.

Grey was a top-two vote-getter in the PACWEST All-Star voting this season, second only to conference Player of the Year Jada Kamerman of Vancouver Island University. For her career, Grey was a 2021 PACWEST gold medalist, a two-time PACWEST silver medalist and captured CCAA bronze as part of the 2024 Blues season.
In the history of Blues women's soccer, 13 individual players have now been recognized as CCAA All-Canadians, with 20 All-Canadian awards in total.
